Reverend Slingshot

SLS, ASLS, RSLS, WSLS
For the sake of website organization, I have decided to create separate pages for the Slingshot, Slingshot Custom, and Slingshot Jr. While they are usually considered the same "family" of guitars, I feel its better to give them each their own due.
Wolfman, SPY, Avenger, Hitman, Rumblefish, and Commando; those are cool names. Slingshot? You lost me there.... (I am not going to mention Rocco). I have to say I was originally put off by the name "Slingshot".
Ironically though, the Slingshot is one of my favorites out of all the Reverend USA models. I have to admit, that my absolute favorite changes with individual guitars, but on the whole, I have never had/played a Slingshot that didn't sound and feel great.
Guitar World's Douglas Baldwin summed it up nicely when he wrote in his review:
"My all-time fave rave of the three Revs was the Slingshot. P-90 pickups are a very underrated commodity in guitardom, and the Slingshot reveals just what everyone is missing. The bottom is warm yet focused, there's nice midrange texture and the highs ring like autumnal church bells. The bridge adds some snarky honk for leads, and when you toss in a little amp overdrive, every setting punches like Muhammad Ali, yet instantly backs off to reveal the Reverend's sweet acoustic-driven sustain."
